A Showcase of Vocal Talent at the Annual Coffee House - April 26, 2018

WIC’s got some amazing talent and it was showcased on Thursday evening, April 26, 2018, at the annual Coffee House Soirée!  Students, teachers and staff wowed the audience with some very moving, entertaining and powerful vocal performances! A very special mention goes to Mr. Steve Lisogurski whose exceptional musical talent is an inspiration to all!

Students and Staff Experience an Amazing International Experience in Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands - March 2018

Twenty-nine Sec. III to V students and four teachers (Miss Castaneda, Mr. Fequet, Mrs. Krespil and Mr. Lee) travelled to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands from Feb. 28th to March 8th, 2018. Outstanding Participation at the QSDA Provincial Debating Championships at LCC on February 16-17, 2018

Congratulations to Junior debaters, Amanda Sultan and Alexa Richstone, and Senior debaters, Ryan Stewart and Justin Schwartz, for their outstanding participation at the QSDA Provincial Debating Championships held at LCC February 16-17th. Students Participate in the World Scholars’ Cup Montreal Round – January 2018.

On Friday, January 19th and Saturday, January 20th, 2018, a select few students, accompanied by Miss Kim Meldrum, experienced the fun in learning and joined a community of leaders and scholars at St. George’s High School. There are few professions that are as rewarding and fulfilling as working in the field of education.

My most cherished aspect of working in a school is seeing the children enter high school at the age of 11, full of potential, wonder, curiosity and enthusiasm and then five years later, have the unbelievable privilege of seeing them walk across the stage at graduation as confident, passionate, driven and mature young women and men who are prepared to tackle the next phase of their development and spread their wings in post-secondary education.

Pet Therapy at WIC - Wednesday, January 17, 2018
