Congratulations to Junior debaters, Amanda Sultan and Alexa Richstone, and Senior debaters, Ryan Stewart and Justin Schwartz, for their outstanding participation at the QSDA Provincial Debating Championships held at LCC February 16-17th. Both teams participated in two prepared rounds on Friday evening, followed by four rounds of impromptu debate on Saturday. Coaches Ms. Hastings and Mr. Stevens are extremely proud and commend them for their dedication and skill.
Special recognition goes out to Amanda Sultan who placed fifth overall in the Junior Individual Speaker Category. Additionally, she and her partner, Alexa Richstone, placed fifth overall in the Junior Team Category, qualifying them for Nationals!
