May 3rd through May 6th, Amanda S., and Alexa R. represented WIC and the province of Quebec at the Canadian Junior National Debate Championships held in Calgary, Alberta. In addition to participating in six incredibly high-level rounds of debate, the students visited the Rockies, toured the town of Banff and made new friends from across the country. It was an incredibly enriching and memorable learning experience for all, including their coach Ms. Hastings who accompanied them on the trip. Congratulations to both students for their hard work and commitment to excellence in debating.
