Fourteen secondary II and III students who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the WIC Expo Science Fair in February 2017 were invited to participate in the Hydro-Québec sponsored Montréal Regional Science and Technology Fair on March 26, 27 and 28, at Concordia University. Our students collected 2 distinction mentions and 14 great distinction mentions. In addition to special cash prize awards which included Marianopolis College Science Award, College Prep International Science Award, McGill University Earth and Planetary Science Award, McGill University Faculty of Engineering Award, Concordia university Office of the Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies Award for Best Research Design and Methodology, Concordia University Award for Oustanding Achievement in Electrical and Computer Engineering, McGill University Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics Award, McGill University Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics Award, McGill University Department of Mechanical Engineering and McGill University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Award.
