Secondary I Fall Adventure Trip

Last week, WIC’s Secondary I students went on their first outdoor education trip in the Laurentians. The trip provided the students with the opportunity to develop new skills, both interpersonal and physical. We experienced just about every weather condition except snow, but that didn’t stop us from going hiking and canoeing!  They also learned wilderness survival skills. They now know how to build a fort in the woods & start a fire.  Students played a variety of games which provided teambuilding & leadership skills. They become acquainted with their new classmates, and prepared themselves for the exciting challenges of high school.

Thank you Mr. Lafrance, Mrs. Wolfe, Mr. Neill, Mr. Marsolais, Mme Rufiange and Mme Rizk for a great start to the year!
