On Thursday, May 24th, 18 secondary IV and V students along with four staff embarked on a cycling trip from WIC to Voyageur Provincial Park in Ontario. It was a 70-kilometer bike journey through Ile-Perrot, Vaudreuil, Hudson and Rigaud! There were a few scheduled stops to take in the beautiful scenery along the way, with one that included an ice cream break. The following day, on Friday, May 25th, everyone biked from Voyageur Provincial Park to Hawkesbury for lunch and then back to the Park for some swimming and beach time. The weather was incredible both days and in total 110 kilometers of biking was done! Everyone had an amazing experience. Accompanying and biking with the students were Mr. Fequet, Mr. Abravanel, Mme Baraby and Miss St. Arnaud. To the graduating students, we hope WIC has inspired them to continue their outdoor adventures in the future.
