We understand that you and your child may be nervous about the transition from elementary school to high school, which is why we take extra measures to ensure it is a smooth one.
The first day of school for Secondary I students is an orientation day. Senior Student Leaders and the Administration plan special activities designed to welcome them to their new school, including an assembly, student-led tours and ice-breaker activities.
Once they are assigned lockers, students learn how to get organized as an introduction to the Study Methods class, which teaches them critical life skills, including organizational, time management and study skills.
We take pride in our open communications between home and school and encourage parents and students to approach our teachers, support staff and administration whenever needed.
