In honour of this year’s theme of RESILIENCE and of our past students who fought and beat leukemia and lymphoma, members of the WIC Interact Club, the WIC Student Council and interested participants from the student body recently walked to support the community of all those affected by cancer at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada’s fundraiser of The Light the Night Walk which took place on October 19th, 2019, at Parc Jean-Drapeau.
It was an extraordinary event to be a part of and witness. Click here to get a sense of the event’s beauty and meaning.
The WIC team raised over $1100 for this amazing cause. Congratulations to all participants and Mrs. Segal for her inspiration with the students.
