WIC’s Juvenile Girls Flag Football team did it again. On May 31, they wrapped up a very strong year and defeated Beaconsfield High School in the G.M.A.A. finals. The score was 20-0. The defense and special teams came up big – scoring 2 of the 3 touchdowns. Helen Vitsentzatos was named the Finals MVP. Coach Christopher Merritt and Coach Brais deserve very special mention as they were integral in leading the team to this well deserved gold medal victory.
